Remember, our 28X1 and 40X1 chips come with a FREE 16MHz resonator. Some customers order the chips AND resonators. You do not need to order the resonator, unless you need it for something else. However,if you do order, and pay for, a resonator, it will be shipped to you since our order acceptance and shipping system is fully automated. Also, the 08M starter pack comes with an 08M chip. You do not need to order an extra 08M chip, unless you need it for something else.

NOTE: The starter packs come with the corresponding PICAXE--i.e the 18X Starter Pack comes with an 18X, the 28X Starter Pack comes with a 28X1, etc. You do not need to purchase an extra chip, unless you want it for another project.

We are proud to be distributors of a new ROBOTICS controller board designed and produced by R4 Systems of Canada. The board uses the 18X PICAXE, has a ULN2803 for driving servos, and a 24L16B EEPROM. The board can be powered by an AC adaptor or a 4.5 - volt external battery. Go to Robots, select Robot Controllers, select R4RobotController.
